Account Deletion

How users can request deletion of their Marketing Paths account and related data.

Last updated: May 22, 2026

1. How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Marketing Paths account, contact us through the Contact page using the email address associated with your account and include the subject or message “Account Deletion Request.” We may provide an in-app deletion option where available.

2. Verification

To protect accounts from unauthorized deletion, we may require reasonable verification before processing a request. We may decline, delay, or narrow a request if we cannot verify your authority to act for the account.

3. What We Intend to Delete or De-Identify

After verification, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify account profile information, saved campaign data, generated content, uploaded files, author profiles, connected account tokens, and other personal information associated with your account, unless retention is permitted or required for legitimate reasons.

4. What May Be Retained

Some information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, taxes, accounting, billing, chargebacks, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, backups, audit logs, abuse prevention, or legitimate business records. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten according to normal backup cycles.

5. Published Content and Third-Party Platforms

Deleting your Marketing Paths account does not automatically delete content already published to WordPress, Facebook, Meta, websites, social platforms, affiliate networks, search engines, or other third-party services. You are responsible for removing or managing published content directly on those services.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Account deletion does not automatically guarantee a refund. Cancel active subscriptions before renewal where required by your payment processor or plan terms. We may retain billing records as required or permitted by law.

7. Effect of Deletion

Deletion may permanently remove access to projects, campaigns, drafts, generated content, connected-site settings, publishing history, reports, and other account materials. Once processed, deletion may not be reversible.

8. Timing

We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period unless a longer period is allowed or required by law, security review, dispute preservation, technical limitations, or account verification needs.
